 During my childhood, I resided in Johnson City, TN, and subsequently relocated to WV, FL, Ohio, before eventually returning to Johnson City. I hold a deep affection for this region due to its kind and warm-hearted residents, serene mountains, and abundant lakes. Nowhere else have I ever felt as truly at home as I do here in the Tennessee/North Carolina mountains.

While in Ohio, I had the privilege of attending Baldwin Wallace College, where I pursued a major in Comprehensive Science. My educational journey continued at the University of Toledo, culminating in the achievement of a Master's Degree in Science Education. My pursuit of knowledge further led me to embark on a doctoral program at Kent State University. For nearly 15 years, I passionately imparted knowledge as a high school science educator before deciding to embark on a new career path in Real Estate.

My inspiration for entering the world of Real Estate came from my beloved Grandmother, Hattie Butler Garland, who was a resident of Johnson City and engaged in buying and selling rental properties. As her eager assistant, I had the responsibility of inspecting bathroom plumbing, a skill that remains with me to this day as one of the initial aspects I assess in a home.

One of life's greatest joys for me is witnessing a family settle into their new home. It validates the countless hours, time investments, concerns, and frustrations I've dedicated to this profession. Sellers also hold a special place in my heart, as assisting them in selling a home to embark on a new life phase is a gratifying experience.
